City of Sydney commits to long term traffic modelling

FLAG welcomes the City of Sydney’s commitment to a separate traffic study to “model the cumulative impacts of all major existing and proposed developments across the LGA south of the CBD, including Harold Park and the Bays Precinct generated traffic… The results will be used by the planning and transport units to evaluate likely requirements for roads, public transport and active transport infrastructure and services supply over the next 20 years”.

We requested this study be undertaken in December 2011.
